About Course

”Businesses small ana large need cloud computing to raise effeciency and effectiveness while lowering lower IT costs. The ability of IT and cybersecurity staff to procure relevant cloud services securely, rapidly, and reliably is critical to the needs of Business System Owners.  This 4-day course provides foundational knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services, as well as why these are relevant yet different than traditional computing concepts, products, and services.  Attendees learn how to address the unique procurement and acquisition challenges which are inherent with cloud based services.  Specifically, the course will address Cloud cybersecurity; Pricing Strategy for Cloud Service Options; Service Level Requirements (SLR) and Service Level Agreements (SLA); Drafting and Negotiating Cloud Computing Agreements; SLA and Cloud Service Contracts (CSC); and Information Technology (IT) Product Security.  There are no prerequisites for this course.
